Tips:
Do regular tweets from your Amrap Page all week long!
Even if you're too busy to tweet during your program, log in to your Amrap Page at anytime and follow steps 8-10 to promote your radio program and to tell musicians that you've aired them.
If you remove the twitter handle (the username with the '@' symbol) from the tweet it is less likely that the musician will know that you have tweeted about them. So Step 8 of the guide is really useful to search for the musician's twitter handle. It's best to follow Step 8 carefully to ensure your Amrap Page has found the musicians actual twitter handle.
Musicians love getting airplay and will appreciate you promoting them on air and on Twitter.
If a musician 'Retweets' your tweet about them that means they have posted your tweet to their twitter followers. A retweet is a powerful way to spread a tweet around twitter. If a musicians retweets your message they are promoting you direct to their fans.
If a musician 'Favourites' your tweet that means they are thanking you for the support, and adding your tweet to their list of favourite messages on twitter.
If a musician 'Follows' you on twitter it means they want to read all your tweets, not just the ones that include them.
If you start getting twitter followers that means that your hard work on twitter is paying off! People are seeing your tweets and they want to see more! Getting followers can take time, so keep sending tweets and the rewards will come!
